15.09.2015 Official Opening Ceremony of the 2015-2016 Academic Year

The official opening ceremony of the new 2015-2015 academic year at Zlatarski International School will be held on September 15^th, 2015 at 10:00 am. Traditionally, we expect the students to be dressed formally (dark trousers/skirts, white shirts, dark shoes).

The academic year for the IB students (11^th and 12^th grade) starts on September 7^th 2015, at 8:00 am for 12^th grade and 9:30 am for 11^th grade.

For 11^th grade, the school year will start with IB Retreat. The IB Regulations and Zlatarski School requirements for IB students will be clarified on September 7^th and September 8^th, as the teachers will present a summary of the disciplines they are going to teach, as well as the differences of the levels (SL, HL) and the assessment criteria. The students will be given a short description of the academic material of each of the subjects, as well as an internal calendar with the deadlines for handing in all major projects and essays.

The academic year of 12 IB grade will begin on September 7^th at 8:00 am with regular classes. The schedules and the timetables will be given on the same day.
