Zlatarski School has become a leading high school, which offers both Bulgarian and international students a rigorous, exciting and challenging program of studies. The School was founded in 1995 as an English Language High School and in 2003 it became the first International Baccalaureate (IB) World School in Bulgaria.
Students and parents choose Zlatarski School because students here enjoy a balanced and enthusiastic learning environment, because of the high quality of teaching, and because we succeed in combining academic excellence with a great range of opportunities outside the classroom.
Today approximately 300 students in
grades 8 to 12 attend the School. 90% of our students come from Bulgarian schools and 10% come from schools in Great Britain, Georgia, Hungary, India, Israel, the Netherlands, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey, and the USA.
At Zlatarski School, we accept students with a high academic ability. Through our challenging programs, our graduates achieve high results, which gain them acceptance in the most prestigious universities in Bulgaria and around the world. But beyond the exams, the School promotes independence of thought, respect for others, creativity, and a sense of responsibility for one's own actions.
