Official School Opening at Zlatarski International School for the Academic 2017 – 2018 Year

The official opening ceremony of the new 2017-2018 academic year at Zlatarski International School will be held on September 15th at 10:00 am. Traditionally, we expect the students to be dressed formally (dark trousers/skirts, white shirts, dark shoes).

The academic year for 12 IB class will begin on September 11th (Monday) at 8:45am with regular classes.

For 11th IB class, the school year will start with the IB Retreat on September 12th (Tuesday) at 9.30 am. The IB Regulations and Zlatarski International School requirements for IB students will be clarified on September 12th and 13th, as the teachers will present a summary of the disciplines they are going to teach, as well as the differences of the levels (SL, HL) and the assessment criteria. The students will be given a short description of the academic material of each of the subjects, as well as an internal calendar with the deadlines for handing in all major projects and essays.

The International English Intensive course at Zlatarski School for newly admitted 8th grade students will take place between 4th and 13th September between 9:00am and 2:00pm.
