Located in Southampton city-centre, Solent University is a contemporary and modern campus offering high quality teaching facilities, a choice of indoor sporting facilities and outdoor playing fields.
The modern residence is just a short walk from the teaching blocks and features single rooms with en-suite bathrooms.
A vibrant and modern city, Southampton also has a rich historical and cultural heritage and remains one of the UK’s greenest cities. It features one of Britain’s largest shopping centres, and a historic waterfront setting. The city is perfectly located to visit London and some great South Coast attractions. Our group will have the opportunity to visit London, Oxford, Brighton, Bath and the Isle of Wight, Winchester, The New Forest, Bournemouth and Stonehenge.
With a lively and action-packed programme this campus is ideal for students looking for a city experience this summer.
What does Junior Summer Camp in Southampton include:
♦ Classes are from 9.00 to 13.00 o’clock.
♦ During the two weeks in Southampton students have the opportunity to attend:
– Full-day excursions include London, Oxford, Brighton, Bath and the Isle of Wight
– Half-day excursions include Winchester, The New Forest, Bournemouth and Stonehenge
♦ Groups are made of 15 students from different countries, classes are 50 min
♦ Breakfast, lunch and dinner with the rest of the students from the group and the teachers
♦ Accomodation in Single en-suite Bedrooms;
♦ Student Union and Theatre, Playing fields, Indoor Sports Hall;
♦ Full afternoon and evening activity programme organised; including a variety of sports (e.g. football, volleyball and swimming) and other activities for example cinema, bowling, shopping, drum workshops and visits to local sites of interest.
♦ Students are divided into 6 English language groups: beginners to advanced, according to their level of proficiency
♦ Students receive a textbook and a certificate
♦ 20 lessons per week;
♦ Full board meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner);
♦ Accomodation in single en-suite bedrooms;
♦ Course materials;
♦ Test for language proficiency;
♦ An end of course certificate;
♦ 2 full-day excursions per week;
♦ 1 half-day excursion;
♦ Full afternoon and evening activity programme organised; including a variety of sports (e.g. football, volleyball and swimming) and other activities for example cinema, bowling, shopping, drum workshops and visits to local sites of interest.
♦ 24 hour supervision by St Giles staff living at the residence and a security guard at night
♦ Medical insurance.

I. Summer camp: £770 GBP per week
£1540 GBP for two week
II. Transfer to/from airoport: £100 GBP
